So today I googled "how to think in english" because I've been struggling to comprehend english sentences w/o translating into chinese in mind which i thought it can't be lasting. And I found a site teaching 6 tips and the most impressive one that I can fulfill everyday is to write things down as a diary. This way i can also record anything that needs to be improved or i have to reflect upon again and again to make sure i'm keeping my path steady.
After whole week of reading papers and doing stuff in lab( mostly about perovskite which is a material with good electrovoltaic quality and easily to be made). I was quite confused during this week cuz it's the week i started to pay fully attention on my project and dedicate almost 6hr/day on it. But u know it's kinda annoying if u have little experience about a subject and new technique and new terms coming again and again, so i got vulnerably distracted while doing my own project. Things are getting better after i finally enter the lab at friday and started to make it on my own hand instead of just reading repeatedly, i found the intriguing part because it's impossible that u read them on paper. You need to feel it personally to enjoy the funny part of every experiment. [part1]
I watched a bunch of movies this week, guessing that i still need a manner of letting of my pressure. they are "peaceful warrior" "Les Intouchables" "Gifted" separately which are all sort of movie that will charge yourself again after watching them. I'd say i cried the most times when i watched peaceful warrior because the main character Dan Millman is just a cast of myself. He is so eager for the gold(gold medal in everyone's life) so he is fear of losing. But an old wise man showed up and catapulted a lot of decent questions that is worth remember and to reflect. The most impressive one to me is " Warriors never fear what they fear" and i like the scene when Soc brings Millman climb onto the vertex and tells him the most important thing is not the result but the happy enjoyable process!
As for the other two i guess i'd wait next week to share them with you although i think no one will read this but still thanks for reading :)
